I just wanted to say thanks for this video! I have three collie cross foster puppies (now 10 weeks old) and although we aren’t using a clicker this is working so well. These are TEN WEEK OLD PUPPIES sitting and waiting patiently: youtube.com/watch?v=9_OWJmRo-MI

I swear my puppy is deaf. I can say her name over and over and she just looks for the treat. It is very frustrating. All these dog training videos are the same. The dogs already know what to do.

Is it useful to use the dogs name as the “come here” command? Because I usually don´t use names of animals unless I want them to come!

What treat are you using? I just got a 4yr old dog but he’s very lazy.. He he pays attention when I have a little bit of hot dog but he won’t do anything for it.

Every time I call my cousins dog: prancer, in which now is becoming more repetitive, he looks at me and stops, but then as I pat my hands or come towards him he goes the opposite way… I don’t wanna force him to come with me, he’s not my dog. But I am doing some training sessions with him in the mornings now and I think I need some help here… Please?

Hi Kikopup, i love your videos. I have a question for you though, I just adopted a dog from a shelter and Im expecting him to come home after his neutering in a couple days. I was wondering what should be the first thing to teach him? His name, to sit/stay, or idk, what should I do?

So great how you explain things and really are consistent in which behaviour you are reinforcing (for example your mark that you don’t give Tug attention when he jumps up and you only give him the treat when he has 4 paws on the ground). I hope you ‘conquer’ the world with your dog training
